Pre-Vocational Task With Pill Box

Following directions and packing are great prevocational tasks and this activity helps them develop these skills. You will need a pill box for this activity.

You can use easily available items like erasers/beads, etc as a substitute for pills. We used pulses like Rajma, Chana, groundnut, etc. For example, Rajma in the morning, groundnut in the afternoon, etc. You can write/draw them on a paper and the kiddo has to follow these instructions and place the appropriate pill ( or pulses in our case) in the right box.

As you can see in the above image, the pill box has compartments for Morning, Noon, Night and Backup for all seven days of the week. We got this from Amazon India, you can purchase it Here. The best thing about this activity is that you can make it as simple ( eg. Rajma for monday) or as complex ( eg. Chana in the morning, Groundnut in the afternoon, Rajma at night) to suit your child's needs.

This is a really good prevocational task, don't you agree?
